Kodak Showtime 8 Projecter

This compact 8mm film projector was designed for home and classroom use during the golden age of film. Produced by Kodak, the Showtime 8 allowed families and educators to share home movies and educational reels before VHS tapes became popular. Its durable design and simple threading system made it a favorite in schools well into the 1970s. Donated by a community member in Melbourne, this projector was bought new and owned by her parents.
