Lionel and American Flyer Train Boxes

Donated by a community member in Melbourne, Florida, these vintage train boxes once housed high-quality electric trains and accessories produced by two iconic manufacturers—Lionel and American Flyer. In January 2025, they narrowly escaped disposal and were hand-selected from a collection of approximately 55 boxes to be preserved in the archive, while the remainder were sold to a collector.
