Sears French Country High Back Chairs

Donated by a community member in Melbourne, Florida, these high-back chairs from Sears’ French Country line blend rustic charm with 1970s suburban elegance. Featuring carved wood frames and golden stitched upholstery, they were a staple in dining rooms aiming for a cozy, provincial aesthetic. These chairs would have been part of a dining room set, however only these two chairs exist, the whereabouts of the other four chairs and dining table are unknown. These two chairs are used with our 1990s Thomasville dining room set as Captain’s chairs.
